I love toro! This is the first time I got it to go cause I was in a rush and it was still fresh and fantastic! I got the yellowtail sushi and the tiger roll and by the time I got home it was still super delicious! Highly recommend!

We had our dinner here tonight, January 2, 2025. Food was delicious and we enjoyed it. Service was great and excellent. Place was quiet and the music was not too loud. We love it here. Miso soup is one of the best and my dinner combinations were too much. Thank you so much for your Excellent Service. Happy New Year

I think we found our new go to sushi spot, courtesy of BF! This place is known for their toro (hence the name lol), so we made sure we didn't leave that out on our dinner order. We tried the toro nigiri ($13.99), chirashi deluxe ($29.99), spicy tuna roll ($8.99), and uni nigiri ($11.95). Everything was fresh and delicious! We loved the toro nigiri so much, we placed a second order! While it's not AYCE, we would come back for our favorite a la carte items for a satisfying meal. Service was excellent as well. Friendly and courteous servers. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

Such a cute little local place! I went inside to place an order to go but the service was still so great and friendly. I think I only waited 10 mins for my food. I went during lunch time because they have great lunch deals! You get so much for a great price I hope it never changes! Def a go to place for lunch/ dinner combos. When I got home the food was still hot and sushi fresh. Will be back. This isn't ayce but they have great combos that make up for it

The food here is still delicious and very fresh. I always get the lemon salmon roll and it's still amazing. I tried this other roll that was recommended but I can't remember the name! It was very good but large! Between the two rolls it was a bit too much food for me. However, that's a good problem to have. It's always clean in here which makes me feel more comfortable. Staff is friendly and attentive and I'll continue to come here as my go to sushi spot.

Toro, our local Henderson neighborhood sushi restaurant. Those in the know go. Simple, no frills, solid sushi bar. Limited number of tables. Decor is basic, nothing special. Fish is fresh, daily specials, solid bento combos. We never leave hungry, portions are ample. Food quality & preparation on point. Attentive service, friendly & welcoming. Habit forming, recommended.

Fast and friendly service! We ordered the chirashi sushi, tempura and sushi combo, and the chicken katsu combo. The fish was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious! The tempura was crispy and there was much more food than we expected. This is a great place for sushi and reasonably priced as well. What a great find!

Very friendly staff here at Toro sushi. They were very efficient and accurate. They had so many options and unique rolls. I has the 007 roll and the Yum Yum Scallop roll. Both great choices I haven't seen at any other restaurant.

Review #26 of 2024 9pm visit on Friday June 28 As we walked into Toro Sushi, we were greeted with a loud, warm, and lovely "irasshaimase." It was a late dinner for us, and we all had our specific cravings. My eldest daughter wanted her beloved California roll, my middle daughter opted for Miso soup, and my son requested his favorite edamame. Their wishes were granted without hesitation. My wife chose the Katsu dinner combination, (which she shared with our children, they loved it!) while I indulged in two of my go-to rolls: the spicy tuna roll and spider roll. I also decided to try something new, the Angry Albacore roll. As always, the quality of the fish at Toro Sushi was impeccable, leaving us satisfied and content. It was a fast dinner for us. We spent roughly 45 minutes here from the time we walked in and paid. Great people and despite being busy, gave us the right amount of attention without hovering. We left the restaurant with happy hearts and full bellies, already looking forward to our next visit. Our recommendation; definitely drop by if you are in the area and craving Japanese cuisine.

We were their first customers just after they opened! We figured that might be the best way to really get everything FRESH Everything was delicious! I do wish it was a slightly larger portion of the vegetable tempura, but nonetheless, it was lovely. We made a couple of small requests with the rolls, and they hit every one correctly, so that's always a plus as well. For my personal liking: the tofu got way too soft after soaking for a little bit in the broth, but it is advertised as a soft tofu, so that is to be expected. Also, we had trouble with the rolls falling apart really easily. Not sure if they weren't just rolled as tight as they should have been, or maybe the rice wasn't as sticky as it needed to be, but the flavor was still there. Overall, we will definitely be back. The food was delicious, the service was kind and quick, and the general ambiance was welcoming and comfortable. The space itself is a tad small, but I feel like it allows them to really make sure their customer service and speed of service is on point.
